The Brief
After Ryze launched Shivmani’s website, the next challenge moved from communication to operations. The website had established a clear promise around transparency and specialist credibility, and Shivmani now needed that same promise to hold up in daily field activity, where employees had to quote quickly, explain pricing clearly, and keep managers informed in real time.
Workflow Gap
The Operational Challenge
As Shivmani’s team began visiting workshops across Australia, quoting became a critical operational touchpoint. Every quote depended on live precious-metal values, internal margin controls, and the specific type of catalytic converter in front of the employee. Before the app, the workflow relied on notes, phone calls, spreadsheets, callbacks, and manual logging, which introduced delay where speed and confidence mattered most.

Ryze built the product around speed with trust. We designed a dual search system for converter ID or vehicle model lookup, made the pricing logic visible so employees could explain current metal prices and quote calculations clearly, and added low-friction accountability through a credit-based usage model, one-tap carting, and manager visibility into quote activity.
System Build
What We Built
Ryze designed and built an internal iOS app connected to an admin dashboard. The app included live precious-metal pricing, instant quote calculations, dual search paths, quote logging, email workflows, and multi-currency support. The dashboard included employee activity tracking, credit allocation, margin adjustment, quote history, analytics, and search visibility, forming one connected operating system for field use and internal oversight.

Implementation Logic
The most important part of the system sat below the interface. Early testing showed that cached calculations could drift out of date when metal prices changed overnight, so Ryze rebuilt the calculation flow to support dynamic recalculation from metal-price updates, converter composition data, manager margin changes, and currency shifts. We kept the app fast while adding invalidation and validation checks that made the pricing dependable in real field conditions.
Field Impact
Operational Change
The app changed the quoting process fundamentally. Before launch, a quote could take 30 to 45 minutes and required multiple handoffs between employee and manager. After launch, employees could search, explain, and present pricing in under 5 seconds, while managers gained real-time quote tracking and stronger control over pricing activity. The transparency promise introduced on the website now worked in the field as well.
