Overview
Faye Hive entered a market with strong existing associations. In premium honey, Manuka is already a recognized category, and much of that recognition is tied to New Zealand. Faye Hive’s opportunity was different. The brand was built around authentic Australian Manuka, with a focus on premium presentation, product clarity, and international distribution.
The Challenge
For premium buyers, Manuka often comes with established expectations around origin, quality, and story. Faye Hive needed a position that could stand clearly on its own in that environment, especially for buyers in Dubai and the wider Middle East. Ryze needed to help the brand claim a credible place in the category with enough clarity and confidence to support early distribution conversations.
Strategic Direction
Ryze built the brand around a more direct expression of Australian identity, modern quality, and product transparency rather than leaning on the same heritage cues already associated with the category. We shifted the emphasis toward authentic sourcing, rigorous quality signals, and a premium presentation that felt contemporary and export-ready, giving Faye Hive a sharper articulation of its own market position.
Building the Brand
The work began with naming, where Ryze tested multiple options before landing on Faye Hive as a clear, distinctive foundation for the brand. From there, we built the identity around warmth, confidence, and product clarity. The packaging system made Australian origin highly visible while keeping the MGO range clear across multiple variants, and the website introduced the brand to wholesale buyers through product storytelling, educational content, and a stronger sense of market readiness.

Ryze created a complete launch foundation across brand, packaging, and digital. The work included brand naming support, logo and identity design, packaging design for multiple MGO variants, a Framer website for premium B2B presentation, product storytelling, educational content, and motion details that helped the brand feel polished and export-ready across every touchpoint.

Those conversations confirmed that the brand was being read in the way Ryze intended: as a credible premium offer with a clear point of view.
