Nexomic: Animated Biotech Website in Framer
Building credibility through motion on a fast-moving biotech launch
A motion-rich biotech website refined and developed to balance scientific credibility with dynamic digital presence.
Overview
Nexomic came to Ryze with a strong scientific proposition and a clear digital ambition. The company was advancing work in biotech AI and precision medicine, with a website concept that needed to communicate technical sophistication quickly. The project began with existing Figma designs and a clear request: refine the visual system, then bring the site to life through motion and interaction.
The Challenge
The website needed to communicate two things at once. It had to feel dynamic enough for an AI-driven biotech company while still carrying the level of seriousness expected in a scientific category. Ryze had to hold that balance across design refinement, interaction design, performance, and device responsiveness in a two-week sprint.
Strategic Direction
Ryze began with design calibration. The original Figma designs already had a foundation, but they needed stronger hierarchy, more visual control, and a clearer relationship between the scientific tone of the brand and the motion-heavy direction the client wanted. From there, we moved into animation planning, choreographing video backgrounds, section transitions, trigger timing, and simultaneous animated elements so the site could feel sophisticated without distracting from the content.
Execution
Week one focused on refinement and planning, where Ryze tightened layout decisions, refined visual hierarchy, and mapped how each motion sequence would behave. Week two focused on the build, with Framer implementation, custom JavaScript where native functionality was not enough, video optimization, device testing, and detailed adjustment of scroll behavior to keep the experience smooth and controlled.
What We Built
Ryze delivered a refined and fully animated website for Nexomic within two weeks. The work included visual refinement of the original design system, Framer development, custom animation sequences, video-background integration, custom JavaScript where needed, and motion optimization across devices. The final site gave Nexomic a stronger digital presence without losing clarity.
Results
The finished experience felt dynamic, polished, and technically credible, giving Nexomic a stronger public-facing presence at an important stage of growth. Shortly after launch, Nexomic won the Precision Medicine Award for AI Innovation of the Year, and the site was already in place to support that recognition with a digital experience that matched the company’s progress.
Client Experience
“Ryze Design Studio took our existing design and transformed it into something extraordinary. The animations and interactions they created perfectly capture the dynamic nature of our AI technology while maintaining the scientific precision our audience expects.
The Framer rebuild not only looks incredible but performs flawlessly across all devices.”
