ChemFab: Industrial Website Redesign in Framer

Modernizing a legacy industrial company without weakening trust

An industrial website redesign that balanced modern presentation with the credibility expected by major engineering clients.

Overview

ChemFab had decades of industrial credibility behind it. Since 1977, the company had built a strong reputation across Gulf Coast fabrication and engineering, serving major industrial clients with the certifications, capacity, and experience expected in that environment. The gap sat between that reality and the way the company appeared online.

Trust Constraint

The Challenge

This was a modernization project inside a trust-sensitive category. Industrial buyers are looking for signs of competence, reliability, and operational weight, so a redesign that felt too conservative would keep the business visually stuck in the past, while a redesign that pushed too far into trend-driven aesthetics could weaken the confidence ChemFab had earned over time. Ryze needed to bring the brand forward without softening its credibility.

Direction Choice

Direction Choice

Strategic Direction

Ryze explored what “modern” could mean for ChemFab through three distinct stylescapes. One leaned toward a premium engineered aesthetic, one felt grounded and familiar to industrial culture, and one moved in a bolder, more distinctive direction. The client chose the boldest visual system, then paired it with the more grounded typography from another direction, giving the project a balance between stronger visual energy and solid trust signals.

What We Built

Ryze redesigned ChemFab’s website around that balance. The final system combined a more modern visual language with typography that felt grounded and credible, while giving clearer emphasis to the details that support trust in this category, including certifications, major client names, facility scale, and lifting capacity. The redesign made those signals easier to see and easier to read across the site.

Results

The redesign gave ChemFab a more current digital presence without disconnecting it from the business it had already built. The finished direction preserved the company’s industrial credibility while presenting it with more clarity and distinction online, helping the site feel more aligned with the scale of its operations and the caliber of the clients it already serves.
