Faye Hive entered a market with strong existing associations.

In premium honey, Manuka is already a recognized category, and much of that recognition is tied to New Zealand. Faye Hive’s opportunity was different. The brand was built around authentic Australian Manuka, with a focus on premium presentation, product clarity, and international distribution.

Ryze needed to define how that offer should appear in the market from day one.

The category already had a dominant narrative.

For premium buyers, Manuka often came with established expectations around origin, quality, and story. Faye Hive needed a position that could stand clearly on its own in that environment, especially for buyers in Dubai and the wider Middle East. This meant the work had to do more than package the product attractively. Ryze needed to help the brand claim a credible place in the category, with enough clarity and confidence to support early distribution conversations.

The most important decision was how the brand would define its place in the market.

Rather than leaning heavily on the same heritage cues already associated with the category, Ryze built the brand around a more direct expression of Australian identity, modern quality, and product transparency. We shifted the strategic emphasis toward what Faye Hive could communicate clearly: authentic sourcing, rigorous quality signals, and a premium presentation that felt contemporary and export-ready. That direction shaped the whole system. The brand did not need to imitate the category leader’s story. It needed a sharper articulation of its own.

The work began with naming.

Before any design could move forward, the brand needed a name that felt premium, memorable, and usable within the practical realities of registry and trademark checks. After testing and rejecting multiple options, Faye Hive gave the project the right foundation: clear, distinctive, and well suited to the category. From there, Ryze built the identity around warmth, confidence, and product clarity. The logo and palette supported a premium but approachable feel. The packaging system made Australian origin highly visible while keeping the MGO range clear across multiple variants. The labels needed to feel elevated without becoming ornate, and informative without becoming crowded. We carried the same thinking into the website. The digital experience introduced the brand to wholesale buyers through product presentation, educational content, sourcing cues, and a stronger sense of market readiness.

Within weeks of going live, Faye Hive received interest from several premium resellers and distributors across Dubai and the Middle East. Those conversations confirmed that the brand was being read in the way Ryze intended: as a credible premium offer with a clear point of view. The result was not only visual coherence. It was a stronger entry into a competitive market.
