Astrem: Designing The Identity While Designing The Site

Astrem: Designing The Identity While Designing The Site

Astrem came to Ryze with structure and copy already in place. What was missing was the visual system.

That changed the nature of the project. Ryze was not redesigning an existing brand. We were defining how the agency should look and feel in public for the first time.

The site needed to do more than present services. It had to establish a visual point of view strong enough to stand on its own in a design-led market.

The Challenge

The Challenge

Designing for a design agency brings a different level of scrutiny.

Astrem’s audience understands hierarchy, rhythm, motion, and visual consistency. The work had to feel considered from the first screen, not only at the level of concept but in the craft of the execution.

We developed three visual territories, each built around a different kind of presence:

- minimal and editorial - bold and high-contrast - dimensional and future-facing The client narrowed the options and selected the third direction. That choice gave the project its center. The site would feel more dimensional, more vibrant, and more forward-looking. Ryze used 3D as the device that made that direction visible. The forms added depth, memorability, and a stronger sense of authorship across the experience. The goal was not decoration. The 3D system needed to carry the identi

Once the direction was chosen, Ryze moved quickly into system building.

We developed the homepage around custom 3D geometric forms created specifically for the brand. Those elements established the visual rhythm of the site and helped unify the interface with the broader identity. The supporting decisions mattered just as much. Color, spacing, contrast, and motion all had to hold together under close attention. For a design agency, the work has to communicate before explanation begins. The site needed to feel intentional at every level.

The final site gave Astrem a defined visual identity and a digital presence to match.

In one week, the project moved from copy and structure without visual direction to a homepage with a clear point of view. The 3D system created stronger memorability, and the overall experience gave the brand a sharper, more distinctive presence. Ryze delivered a site that felt considered, dimensional, and ready to represent a design-led business.
